One of the most incredible and eye-opening experiences of my life. From relocating wildebeest to protect them from poaching to witnessing the sheer size of rhinos up close — every moment reinforced how critical conservation efforts truly are.

40+ dog & cat vaccinations, medical exams, and a few spays later — living on a boat, traveling the sea to provide free veterinary care to remote coastal villages. Absolutely life-changing in ways I couldn't have planned for.

My first week focused on avian veterinary care with Wildlife Vets International and the impact of declining bird populations. Then I joined Wildlife S.O.S. to help with the rescue, rehabilitation, and medical management of sloth bears and elephants.

The most beautiful place on Earth — hands down. Supporting chimpanzee rescue and rehabilitation while learning what it really takes to protect gorillas and chimps in the Congo Basin, where wildlife medicine, conservation strategy, and field logistics all collide.

Directly providing veterinary care through spay/neuter and wellness clinics — practical, high-impact medicine that improves animal health and supports communities, while building my skills in field surgery and preventive care where resources are limited.

Next on the map — working directly with Maasai communities on wildlife conservation at the intersection of traditional knowledge and modern veterinary science.
