Changing the World, One Project at a Time
Guatemala: Dog + Cat Spay, Neuter, & Wellness Clinic
[January 2026] In Guatemala, I was able to directly provide veterinary care through dog and cat spay/neuter and wellness clinics—focused on practical, high-impact medicine that improves animal health and supports communities, while building my skills in field surgery, preventive care, and working where resources (and time) are limited.
Gabon, Africa: Primate Conservation
[November 2025] The most beautiful place on Earth - hands down. In Gabon, I worked in primate conservation—supporting chimpanzee rescue/rehabilitation efforts and learning what it really takes to protect gorillas and chimpanzees in one of the most biodiversity-rich regions on Earth, while documenting how wildlife medicine, conservation strategy, and real-world field logistics all collide in the Congo Basin.
Kruger National Park, South Africa: Elephant Collaring, Rhino Horn Trimming, Wildebeest & Antelope Relocation
[August 2024] Hands down, this was one of, if not, the most incredible and eye-opening experiences of my life. From relocating wildebeests to protect them from poaching to witnessing the sheer size and strength of rhinos up close, every moment reinforced how critical conservation efforts are.
Sea of Cortes, Mexico: Pro-Bono Veterinary Care in Remote Villages via Boat
[June 2024] 40+ dog & cat vaccinations, medical exams, and a few spays later, and I’m back in the States from Mexico! From living on a boat to traveling the sea to provide free veterinary care to remote villages, this experience was absolutely life-changing in ways I couldn’t have planned for.
Jaipur & Agra, India: Avian, Sloth Bear, & Elephant Rescue and Rehabilitation
[January 2025] During my first week in India, I worked with Wildlife Vets International, focusing on avian veterinary care and the impact of declining bird populations. Then, I worked with the team of Wildlife S.O.S. and helped with the rescue, rehabilitation, and medical management of sloth bears & elephants.
